Mindfulness: End of 10 days trial

This last two days have been the last of the 10 days of trial I did to see if mindfulness really did help me. From all of this 10 days I have learned that, while it can be a little hard to implement mindfulness in my every day life, it is extremely useful. Not only that, but I have learned that their are certain mindful activities I prefer over others. For example; I loved drawing and walking my dog as mindful activities, as well as practicing piano. Also, at the beginning of this 10 days I was extremely stressed, in a scale of 1-10 I was in a stress level of 8. However, the lowest I got doing this activities (including all the stress certain days brought) was a 3.
The first page of  "Moonlight Sonata" I have began to learn
This last two days have been a lot like the 29th and 30th; I relaxed a lot after school but I need a little bit of variation and challenge to really stay in the moment. Because lately my dog is kind of sick I have not been able to walk him as long as I wanted. However, this has forced me to create new routs for him, which are not as demanding as the old ones. Now what I do is take him to a small park inside the Condado, where I will take his collar off and let him relax. In that park I will stay seated for some 20 minutes and hear the birds sing and take time to clear my mind. I think that this activity and new rout are the best ones so far, for apart from walking I take time to clear my mind of all thoughts and enjoy the nature around me.
My bear drawing, completely my style
Apart from the walks I have began to really focus in my piano practices and drawings. For example, I have learned the first page of 4 from "Moonlight Sonata" which is extremely hard and I still can´t play the two hands together perfectly. However, because it is such a big challenge I focus entirely in practicing and trying to overcome this difficult song. Also, now that I have improved in my drawing skills all I need to do is see images in the internet of animals (no longer the drawings of animals) and I can make drawings of my own. This also has made me concentrate more while drawing, for I need to make the image a drawing I´m able to draw. Furthermore, since I have really began to make progress in my artistic skill I feel a calmness and joy inside me every time I finish a drawing, and in turn I stay relaxed almost all the day after I have done the activity. While this began as a project for English class I think that I will really begin to implement mindful activities in my day to day life, if not as many as in this last 10 days I think I will at least do one mindful activity per day.
